SSC GD Vacancy 2025 For Males

Staff Selection Commission has announced 23467 vacancies for males in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF forces. 

SSC GD Vacancy 2025 For Females

This year, 2020 vacancies has been released for females in BSF, CISF, CRPF, SSB, ITBP, AR, and SSF forces. Check force-wise vacancy from below table. 

SSC GD Recruitment 2025 : IMPORTANT DATES

• Last date for making online fee payment : 01-01-2026
• Schedule of Computer Based Examination : Feb- April, 2026

SSC GD Recruitment 2025 : APPLICATION FEE 

• For Women/ SC/ ST/ Ex Serviceman Candidates : Nil
• For all other Candidates : Rs. 100/-
• Correction Charge : Rs. 200/- First Time
• Correction Charge : Rs. 500/- (Second Time)
• Payment Mode : Through Online

SSC Constable GD 2025 : AGE LIMIT 

Candidates should meet the Age Limit (As on 01-01-2026) for SSC GD Recruitment 2023.

• Minimum Age : 18 Years
• Maximum Age : 23 Years
• Candidates should not have been born earlier than 01-01-2001 and later than 01-01-2006 in normal course. However, after relaxation of three (03) years in upper age,
• Age relaxation is applicable as per rules

SSC GD Recruitment 2025 : QUALIFICATION 

• Candidates should possess Matriculation or 10th Class pass from a recognized Board/ University.

SSC Constable GD 2025 : SALARY 

The initial salary of a General Duty Constable is Rs. 23,527 per month and the starting basic pay of a Constable is Rs. 21,700. The maximum basic pay for GD Constable can reach up to Rs. 69,100. 

SSC Constable GD Recruitment 2025 : SELECTION PROCESS

The entire recruitment process of SSC GD 2025 will be completed in four stages: Computer Based Test (CBT), Physical Standard Test (PST), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and at the last the Medical Test. The candidates will be shortlisted for SSC GD Constable posts in Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs), SSF, Rifleman (GD) in Assam Rifles and Sepoy in Narcotics Control Bureau. through the following stages-

Stage 1- Written examination (Computer Based)

Stage 2- Physical Efficiency Test (PET)

Stage 3- Physical Standard Test (PST)

Stage 4- Medical Test

After the medical test, the candidates shortlisted will have to appear for document verification.

For Computer-Based Examination

The computer-based examination will be of 160 marks consisting of 80 questions. There will be 4 sections in the online exam to be attempted in 60 minutes. 0.25 marks will be deducted when a question is attempted wrong. There will be no penalty if the question is left unanswered. The exam pattern for CBE has been detailed below.

N.B : All questions will be of Objective Multiple Choice Type. The computer based examination will be conducted in English, Hindi and in 13 Regional languages viz. (i) Assamese, (ii) Bengali, (iii) Gujarati, (iv) Kannada, (v) Konkani, (vi) Malayalam, (vii) Manipuri, (viii) Marathi, (ix) Odia, (x) Punjabi, (xi) Tamil, (xii) Telugu and (xiii) Urdu.

SSC GD Physical Efficiency Test (PET) 

Candidates have to clear the race within the following time limits :-

Physical Standards for the posts are as follows :-

Height For Male Candidates

• 162.5 cms (For ST Candidates)
• 170 cms (For All Other Candidates)

Height For Female Candidates

• 150 cms (For ST Candidates)
• 157 cms (For All Other Candidates)

Chest For Male Candidates

• 76 cms – 81 cms (For ST Candidates)
• 80 cms – 85 cms(For All Other Candidates)
