RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

Candidates must possess one of the following qualifications from a recognized board/institution:

• 10th Pass (Matriculation)

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) Certificate (NCVT/SCVT)

• National Apprenticeship Certificate (NAC) granted by NCVT

2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 18 Years

• Maximum Age: 33 Years

• Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: 5 Years

  • OBC (NCL): 3 Years

  • PwBD: 10 Years

Salary & Benefits

• Pay Scale: Level-1 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix

• Basic Pay: ₹18,000 per month

• Gross Salary: Approx. ₹22,500 – ₹25,380 (including allowances like DA, HRA, Transport Allowance, etc.)

RRB Group D Recruitment 2026 Selection Process

The selection process involves four stages:

1. Computer Based Test (CBT): Objective type questions on Science, Maths, Reasoning, and General Awareness.

2. Physical Efficiency Test (PET): Running and weight lifting tasks.

3. Document Verification (DV): Verification of original certificates.

4. Medical Examination: Thorough medical check-up as per Railway standards.

• General / OBC / EWS: ₹500 (₹400 refundable after appearing in CBT)

• SC / ST / PwBD / Female / Transgender / Ex-Servicemen: ₹250 (Fully refundable after appearing in CBT)
