The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has released the notification for the Combined Recruitment Examination 2025 (CRE-2025). This recruitment drive aims to fill 3,250 vacancies across various posts including Revenue Inspector (RI), Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI), ICDS Supervisor, Amin, Junior Assistant (JA), Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS), and Village Agricultural Worker (VAW).

• Notification Date: 30th December 2025
• Online Registration / Re-registration Start Date: 7th January 202
• Online Registration / Re-registration End Date: 31st January 2026

Vacancy Details & Salary

The recruitment is for District/Range Cadre posts. The scale of pay and total vacancies are as follows:

OSSSC Combined Recruitment Examination 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit (As on 01.01.2025)

• Minimum Age: 20 Years for RI, ARI, Amin; 21 Years for other posts.

• Maximum Age: 42 Years.

• Relaxation:

• 5 Years for SC/ST/SEBC and Women candidates

• 10 Years for PwD candidates

• Ex-Servicemen are eligible for relaxation as per service rendered.

Educational Qualification

• Revenue Inspector (RI): Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline + Computer Knowledge.

• ICDS Supervisor: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts, Science, or Commerce (Women only).

• Village Agricultural Worker (VAW): +2 Science or +2 Vocational in Agriculture related subjects (Diploma in Ag. Polytechnic desirable)

• Junior Assistant (JA): +3 in Arts/Science/Commerce or equivalent + Computer Skill.

• Assistant Revenue Inspector (ARI): Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or Diploma in Engineering + Computer Knowledge.

• Amin: Higher Secondary Examination (10+2) or Diploma in Engineering + Computer Knowledge.

• Statistical Field Surveyor (SFS): 10+2 Exam (CHSE/CBSE/CISCE) or equivalent

Selection Process

The recruitment process consists of two stages:

Stage I: Written Test (100 Marks)

• Mode: MCQ type (OMR/CBRE).
• Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deducted for each wrong answer.
• Qualifying Marks: 35% for General, 30% for SC/ST/PwD/Ex-Servicemen/Sportsperson.

Stage II: Practical Skill Test (50 Marks)

• Subject: Basic Computer Skills.
• Qualifying Marks: 40%.
• Candidates 3 times the vacancies will be shortlisted for this test.

Application Fee

• General / SEBC: ₹500/-.

• SC / ST / PwD: Exempted.

• Refund: The fee will be refunded to candidates who actually appear for the examination.

How to Apply

1. Visit the official website: www.osssc.gov.in.

2. Click on “Apply Online” on the Home Page.

3. New Users: Register by clicking “New User”.

4. Registered Users: Login and click “Re-registration”.

5. After registration/re-registration, fill out the online application form.

6. Upload scanned photograph, signature, and required documents.

7. Pay the examination fee (if applicable).

8. Submit the application and take a printout.

Note: Applications must be submitted online only. Incomplete applications will be rejected.
