The State Pollution Control Board (SPCB), Odisha, under the Department of Forest, Environment & Climate Change, Government of Odisha, has invited online applications from eligible candidates for recruitment to various Group “B” and “C” posts. The selection process will include a written test (CBT mode) and a personal interview.

SPCB Odisha Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria 

1. Educational Qualification

• Assistant Env. Engineer: BE / B.Tech / AMIE (Section A & B) in Civil, Chemical, Computer Science & Engineering, IT, Mining, Mechanical, Electronic & Instrumentation, or Environmental Engineering.

• Assistant Env. Scientist: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Geology & Geophysics, Statistics, Life Science, Environmental Science & Engineering, or Environmental Science.

• Senior Scientific Assistant: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Life Science, Env. Science, Marine Biology, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology.

• Junior Laboratory Assistant: B.Sc. pass (Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology, Biotechnology, or Microbiology).

• Accountant: B.Com pass + ICWA/CA Inter + 8 years of working experience in Govt. agency/PSU/Statutory Board/Corporation.

• Junior Accountant: B.Com pass + PGDCA + Proficiency in Tally software.

• Junior Assistant: Graduate in any discipline + PGDCA on computer applications.

• Assistant Section Officer: Graduate in any discipline + PGDCA + 5 years of working experience in Govt. agency/PSU/Statutory Board/Corporation.

2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

• Minimum Age: 21 Years.

• Maximum Age: 42 Years.

Age Relaxations:

• SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 05 Years.

• PwDs (40% or more disability): 10 Years.

• Internal Candidates: Relaxable by the number of years served in their respective posts.
