RITES Recruitment 2025 – Apply Online for 150 Posts

RITES Limited (A Govt. of India Enterprise) has released a notification for 150 posts of Senior Technical Assistant (Mechanical) on contract basis. Eligible Diploma holders can apply online from 09/12/2025 to 30/12/2025, and the written test will be held on 11/01/2026 (3:00 PM–5:30 PM).

Educational qualification:

• Full-time Diploma in:

  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Production / Production & Industrial / Manufacturing Engineering

  • Mechanical & Automobile Engineering

• Higher qualification (Degree/PG) in same discipline also eligible.​

Minimum marks:

• UR/EWS: 50% in qualifying exam.

• SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD (against reserved posts): 45%.​

Experience:

• Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in relevant engineering field.

• Apprenticeship under Apprenticeship Act is counted; academic/Teaching/PhD internship not counted.​

Age, salary & fees

• Maximum age: 40 years as on 30/12/2025.

• Relaxation: OBC/SC/ST/PwD/Ex‑servicemen/J&K domicile as per Govt. rules​

Salary:

• Basic Pay: ₹16,338/- per month.

• Gross CTC: approx. ₹29,735/- per month (may vary with place of posting).​

Application fee:

• Fee for SC/ST/PwD is refundable (after exam participation) minus GST/bank charges.​

Selection process

Phase I – Written Test

• 125 objective questions, 1 mark each, no negative marking.

• Duration: 150 minutes (2.5 hours).

• Minimum qualifying:

  • UR/EWS: 50%

  • SC/ST/OBC(NCL)/PwD (reserved): 45%.​

Sections (125 Questions):

• Quantitative Aptitude – 35

• Data Interpretation – 35

• Logical Reasoning – 35

• Basic Awareness/General Knowledge – 20​

Phase II – Document scrutiny

• Based on written test and vacancies; scrutiny of uploaded documents.

• Medical exam as per RITES rules before final joining.​

Employment is purely contract basis for 1 year, extendable till project completion based on performance and requirement.​
