Indian Air Force (IAF) Agniveer Vayu Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit

• Candidates must be born between 01 January 2006 and 01 July 2009 (both dates inclusive).

• Maximum Age: 21 Years (on the date of enrolment).

• Marital Status: Only unmarried candidates (Male & Female) are eligible.

2. Educational Qualification

A. Science Subjects:

• Passed 10+2 / Intermediate with Mathematics, Physics, and English from a recognized Education Board with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

• OR Passed Three years Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / IT) with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

• OR Passed Two years Vocational Course with non-vocational subject viz. Physics and Maths with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

B. Other Than Science Subjects:

• Passed 10+2 / Intermediate in any stream/subjects with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

• OR Passed Two years Vocational Course with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English.

Physical Standards

Physical Fitness Test (PFT):

• Running: 1.6 Km run within 07 minutes (Male) / 08 minutes (Female).

• Exercises (Male): 10 Push-ups, 10 Sit-ups, 20 Squats.

• Exercises (Female): 10 Sit-ups, 15 Squats.

Selection Process

The selection process consists of three phases:

1. Phase-I: Online Computer Based Test (CBT).

   • Science Subjects: English, Physics, and Mathematics (60 Mins).

   • Other Than Science: English and Reasoning & General Awareness (RAGA) (45 Mins).

   • Both: English, Physics, Math, and RAGA (85 Mins).

2. Phase-II: Physical Fitness Test (PFT) & Adaptability Tests (I & II).

3. Phase-III: Medical Examination.Salary & Benefits (Seva Nidhi)

Agniveers will receive a customized monthly package along with Risk and Hardship allowances.

• Exit after 4 Years: Approx. ₹11.71 Lakh as Seva Nidhi Package (Interest accumulated).
