1. Head Constable (Radio Operator)

• Pass in intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution   OR
• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years ITI in Radio and Television or Electronics Engineering or Computer Operating and Programming Assistant or Data Preparation and Computer Software or General Electronics Engineering or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

2. Head Constable (Radio Mechanic)

• Pass in intermediate or 12th standard or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized Board or University or Institution. OR
• Matriculation or equivalent from a recognized Board and two years ITI in Radio and Television or General Electronics or Computer Operator and Programming Assistant or Data Preparation and Computer Software or Electrician or Fitter or Information Technology and Electronics System Maintenance or Communication Equipment Maintenance or Computer Hardware or Network Technician or Mechatronics or Data Entry Operator from a recognized Institute.

• Each question carries 2 marks
• Total Time Duration – 2 hours
• Negative marking – 0.25 marks for each wrong answer

Physical Standard Test (PST)

• Running – 1.6 km in 6.5 minutes
• Long Jump – 3.6 meter in 3 chance
• High Jump – 1.2 meter in 3 chance

• Running – 800 meter in 4 minutes
• Long Jump – 9 feet in 3 chance
• High Jump – 3 feet in 3 chance
