The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has officially declared the results for the Combined Recruitment Examination (CRE) 2023 (IV) Preliminary Exam. Candidates who appeared for the exam held between October and November 2025 can now check their qualifying status for the upcoming Mains Examination.

How to Check Your OSSSC CRE Prelims Result

Candidates can follow these steps to download the merit list:

1. Visit the official website: www.osssc.gov.in.

2. Go to the “Recruitment News” section on the homepage.

3. Click on the link: “Notification No. IIE-18/2026 – Publication of results of the Preliminary Examination for CRE-2023(IV)”.

4. A PDF file containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will open.

5. Press Ctrl + F and type your roll number to check your selection status.

Expected Cut-Off Marks (Out of 100)

Based on the exam’s difficulty level and candidate performance, the expected cut-off ranges for the Preliminary stage are as follows:

• General: 70 – 75

• OBC/SEBC: 65 – 70

• EWS: 65 – 70

• SC: 60 – 65

• ST: 55 – 60

• Female Candidates: 55 – 60

What’s Next? (Mains Exam & Skill Test)

Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF are provisionally qualified for the Mains Examination.

• Mains Exam Pattern: 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 180 marks covering Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, and Computer.

• Negative Marking: 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

• Practical Skill Test: A qualifying test in Basic Computer Skills (minimum 40% required) will follow the Mains.
