Candidates can follow these steps to download the merit list:

Visit the official website: www.osssc.gov.in.

Go to the “Recruitment News” section on the homepage.

Click on the link: “Notification No. IIE-18/2026 – Publication of results of the Preliminary Examination for CRE-2023(IV)”.

A PDF file containing the roll numbers of shortlisted candidates will open.

Press Ctrl + F and type your roll number to check your selection status.
Expected Cut-Off Marks (Out of 100)
Based on the exam’s difficulty level and candidate performance, the expected cut-off ranges for the Preliminary stage are as follows:

General: 70 – 75

What’s Next? (Mains Exam & Skill Test)
Candidates whose roll numbers appear in the PDF are provisionally qualified for the Mains Examination.

Mains Exam Pattern: 180 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) for 180 marks covering Mathematics, General Studies, English, Odia, and Computer.

Negative Marking: 0.33 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.

Practical Skill Test: A qualifying test in Basic Computer Skills (minimum 40% required) will follow the Mains.
