The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has officially released the detailed recruitment notification for CRP CSA-XVI (Common Recruitment Process for Customer Service Associate posts, commonly known as IBPS Clerk).

This recruitment drive aims to fill 11,403+ indicative vacancies for Customer Service Associates (CSA) across 11 participating Public Sector Banks for the financial year 2027–28. Eligible Indian graduates can submit their applications online through the official IBPS portal.

Pay Scale & Salary Structure

The Customer Service Associate (CSA) post carries the following basic pay scale, along with standard bank allowances (DA, HRA, CCA, transport allowance, etc.):

  • Basic Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – ₹64,480(₹24050 – 1340/3 – 28070 – 1650/3 – 33020 – 2000/4 – 41020 – 2340/7 – 57400 – 4400/1 – 61800 – 2680/1 – 64480)

Eligibility Criteria

1. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 20 years
  • Maximum Age: 28 years (Candidates born between August 2, 1998, and August 1, 2006)

Upper Age Relaxation:

  • SC / ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
  • PwBD: 10 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (Max up to 50 years)
  • Widows / Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (General/EWS), 38 years (OBC), 40 years (SC/ST)

2. Educational Qualification (as on 21.08.2026)

  • Degree: Graduation in any discipline from a recognized university or equivalent.
  • Computer Literacy: Operating and working knowledge in computer systems is mandatory (Certificate/Diploma/Degree in computer operations OR studied Computer/IT in High School/College).
  • Local Language Proficiency: Candidates must be proficient (reading, writing, speaking, and understanding) in the official language of the State/UT for which they apply.

Selection is conducted in two main online test stages followed by a language test prior to joining:

Negative Marking: $0.25$ marks will be deducted for each wrong answer in both Preliminary and Main exams.

Stage 3: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)

Candidates who studied the local language in Class 10 or above are exempt. All other shortlisted candidates must clear a qualifying Local Language Proficiency Test conducted by the allotted bank before joining.

Application Fee

  • SC / ST / PwBD / ESM / DESM: ₹175 (inclusive of GST)
  • All Other Candidates: ₹850 (inclusive of GST)
  • Mode of Payment: Online via Debit/Credit Card, Net Banking, IMPS, Wallets, or UPI.

  4. Upload Documents: Attach scanned copies of your Photograph, Signature, Left Thumb Impression, and Hand-written Declaration.
