Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
SI in Delhi Police & CAPFs (GD): Bachelor’s degree in any discipline from a recognized university.
Note: Male candidates applying for Delhi Police SI must possess a valid LMV Driving License (Motorcycle and Car) on the date of the Physical Endurance and Measurement Test (PE&MT).
SI (Fire) in CISF:
Bachelor’s degree in Science with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics OR
Matriculation plus a 3-year Diploma in Mechanical / Civil / Electrical / Automobile / Chemical / Mining / Aeronautical / Telecommunication Engineering.
Age Limit (As of 01.08.2026)
For SI (Delhi Police & CAPFs):20 to 25 Years (Born between 02.08.2001 and 01.08.2006).
For SI (Fire) in CISF:18 to 30 Years (Born between 02.08.1996 and 01.08.2008).
Age Relaxation:
SC / ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Ex-Servicemen (ESM): 3 years after military service deduction
Selection Process
The selection for SSC CPO 2026 is conducted across four successive stages:
Paper-I: Computer-Based Test (Objective)
Physical Standard Test (PST) / Physical Endurance Test (PET): Qualifying in nature
Paper-II: Computer-Based Test (Objective – English & Reasoning Focus)
Detailed Medical Examination (DME) & Document Verification

Long Jump: 3.65 meters (3 chances)

Shot Put (16 Lbs): 4.5 meters (3 chances)
For Female Candidates:
100m Race: Complete in 18 seconds
800m Race: Complete in 4 minutes
Long Jump: 2.7 meters (3 chances)
High Jump: 0.9 meters (3 chances)
