Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Principal: Master’s Degree from a recognized university with at least 50% marks, B.Ed. degree, and relevant teaching/administrative experience.
• PGT Posts: Master’s Degree in the relevant subject with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST/SEBC/PwD) and B.Ed. from an NCTE-recognized institution.
• TGT Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Science with 50% marks (45% for reserved categories), B.Ed. degree, and pass in OSSTET / OTET Paper-II / CTET Paper-II.
• Computer / Art / PET: Relevant Bachelor’s degree/diploma (B.CA/B.Sc IT/B.P.Ed/B.F.A) from a recognized university or institute.

2. Age Limit (As per Rules)

• Principal: 32 to 50 years
• PGT, TGT, Art, PET & Computer Teacher: 21 to 38 years

Age Relaxation:

• SEBC / SC / ST / Women: 5 years relaxation
• PwD Candidates: 10 years relaxation
• PwD + SC/ST Candidates: 15 years relaxation

Selection Process

The candidate selection procedure comprises the following stages:

1. Computer-Based Test (CBT)
2. Interview (where applicable)
3. Performance Test / Skill Test (for Computer/Art/PET posts)
4. Document Verification (DV)
