CSIR-IMMT Bhubaneswar Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria

1. Educational Qualification

• Essential: Matriculation (10th standard) or equivalent pass.

• Desirable: Intermediate (12th Class) Pass.

2. Age Limit (As on 21.04.2026)

• Age Range: 18 to 25 years.

• Candidates must have been born between 22-04-2001 and 21-04-2008.

• Age Relaxation: * ST Candidates: 5 Years

  • PwBD Candidates: 10 Years (15 Years for PwBD-ST)

  • Ex-Servicemen & Widows/Divorced Women: As per CSIR/Government rules.

Salary & Job Profile

• Pay Scale: Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900) of the Pay Matrix as per the 7th CPC.

• Job Requirement: Duties include office maintenance work, opening/closing of sections, cleaning of furniture and equipment, receiving and dispatching Dak, physical maintenance of records/files, hospitality (serving tea/coffee/meals to guests), guest house inventory management, and watch & ward duties.

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection will be done via an OMR Based or Computer Based Objective Type Multiple Choice Examination.

• Standard of Exam: Class X standard.

• Total Time Allotted: 2 Hours.

• Total Questions: 150.

Paper Pattern:

1. General Intelligence: 25 Questions (75 Marks)

2. Quantitative Aptitude: 25 Questions (75 Marks)

3. General Awareness: 50 Questions (150 Marks)

4. English Language: 50 Questions (150 Marks)

• Marking Scheme: 3 marks for every correct answer.

• Negative Marking: 1 negative mark will be deducted for every wrong answer across all subjects.
