Software Technology Parks of India (STPI), an autonomous society under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India, has published a recruitment notification (Advt. No. 7(1)/I/STPI-HQ/2026-27) inviting online applications for the engagement of Apprentice Trainees under the Apprenticeship Act-1961 for a period of one year.

Eligibility Criteria
Educational Qualification
- Technical Stream: B.E. / B.Tech in Electronics, Electrical, Electronics & Communication, Telecommunication, Computer Science, or Information Technology (IT).
- Non-Technical Stream: Bachelor’s Degree in Arts (B.A.), Commerce (B.Com), or Administration (BBA), etc.
- Passing Year Rule: Candidates must have completed their degree or diploma qualification in June 2021 or thereafter.
- Prior Experience: Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in STPI or any other organization are not eligible.
Age Limit (as on 14/09/2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Maximum Age (Unreserved/UR): 27 Years
- Maximum Age (OBC): 30 Years
- Maximum Age (SC/ST): 32 Years(Relaxation applicable as per Government of India Rules).
Monthly Stipend
- B.E. / B.Tech Graduates: ₹15,000 per month
- B.A. / B.Com / BBA Graduates: ₹12,300 per month
Note: The Screening-cum-Selection Committee may award a higher stipend (up to ₹20,000 per month) based on candidate performance during the interview. Stipends are disbursed through the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) mechanism via the NATS Portal.
Selection Process
The selection process involves:
- Shortlisting: Based on academic performance and eligibility criteria.
- Interview: Candidates will be interviewed by the Screening-cum-Selection Committee. There is no written examination.
Step-by-Step Application Guide
1.Register on NATS Portal:Mandatory first step.
Visit the National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) Portal at nats.education.gov.in. Complete the student enrollment process by filling in personal, qualification, Aadhaar, and bank account details to generate a unique NATS Enrolment ID.
2.Access STPI Recruitment Portal:Career Section.
Go to the official STPI website at stpi.in and navigate to the Career / Recruitment section to access the online application portal.
3.Fill Out the Application Form:Include NATS ID.
Enter your personal details, academic qualifications, and enter your newly generated NATS Enrolment ID into the designated field.
4.Submit & Print Confirmation:Before September 30, 2026.
Review all details for accuracy, submit the online form, and download a copy of the application summary for future reference.
