Eligibility Criteria

1. Category Eligibility

• Eligible: SC, ST, and OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) candidates only.
• Ineligible: General / Unreserved (UR), EWS, and OBC (Creamy Layer) candidates are not eligible under this recruitment drive.

2. Educational Qualification (As on 31.12.2026)

• Graduation Degree: Must possess a Graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
• Final Year Students: Candidates in their final year/semester can apply provisionally, provided they can produce proof of passing the graduation examination on or before December 31, 2026.
• Ex-Servicemen: Matriculate Ex-servicemen who hold the Indian Army Special Certificate of Education (or Naval/Air Force equivalent) after a minimum of 15 years of service are also eligible.

3. Age Limit (As on 01.04.2026)

• Age Bracket: Minimum 20 years and Maximum 28 years (born between April 2, 1998, and April 1, 2006, inclusive).

Upper Age Relaxation:

• SC / ST: 5 years (up to 33 years)
• OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years (up to 31 years)
• PwBD (OBC): 13 years
• PwBD (SC / ST): 15 years
• Ex-Servicemen: Service period + 3 years (subject to a maximum age limit of 50 years).

Pay Scale & Salary

• Pay Scale: ₹24,050 – 1340/3 – 28070 – 1650/3 – 33020 – 2000/4 – 41020 – 2340/7 – 57400 – 4400/1 – 61800 – 2680/1 – ₹64,480.
• Starting Basic Pay:₹26,730/- (includes two advance increments admissible to graduates).
• Total In-hand / Gross Salary: Approximately ₹46,000/- per month in metro cities like Mumbai (inclusive of DA, HRA, and applicable allowances).

Selection Process & Exam Pattern

The selection process involves three distinct phases:

Phase-I: Preliminary Examination (Online Test)

• Format: Objective Test (100 Marks | Duration: 1 Hour)
• Negative Marking:1/4 mark deducted for each incorrect answer.

Phase-III: Local Language Proficiency Test (LLPT)
