Educational Qualification & Experience Criteria
1. DGM (Structural Engineer / Buildings)
- Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering AND Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 11 years of post-qualification experience (min. 5 years in designing multi-storied RCC, Steel, and Composite structures). Knowledge of structural design software (ETABS, STAAD, SAFE) is desirable.
2. Assistant Manager (Structural Engineer / Buildings)
- Qualification: Full-time B.E/B.Tech in Civil Engineering AND M.E/M.Tech in Structural Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of post-qualification experience in structural design of multi-storied buildings.
3. Assistant Manager (BIM Expert / Public Health Engineering)
- Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in the design of Water Supply, Drainage, Sewerage, STP, and Fire Fighting systems for building infrastructure.
4. Assistant Manager / Architect (Healthcare / Hospital Expert)
- Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) AND Master’s Degree in Healthcare Architecture.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and designing healthcare facilities (hospitals, medical colleges).
5. Assistant Manager (Architect / Building Expert)
- Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and design of multi-storied building infrastructure.
6. Assistant Manager (Architect / Metro Rail Expert)
- Qualification: Full-time Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture (B.Arch).
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience in planning and designing Metro Station buildings (including underground stations).
Salary & Pay Scale
Selected candidates will be placed on regular pay scales as per RITES rules along with applicable allowances:

Selection Process
The selection procedure varies depending on the applied post:
For DGM (Structural Engineer / Buildings):
- Document Scrutiny
- Personal Interview (100% Weightage):
- Technical & Professional Proficiency: 65%
- Personality, Communication & Competency: 35%
For Assistant Manager Posts:
- Written Test (60% Weightage): Objective exam containing 125 questions (125 marks) for 2.5 hours with no negative marking.
- Interview (40% Weightage)
- Document Scrutiny
Exam Centers:
The written test will be held at Delhi/Gurgaon, Kolkata, Bangalore, Mumbai, Bhubaneswar, and Guwahati.
