The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board (DSSSB) has officially released Notification Advt No. 04/2026 for a Combined Examination on behalf of the Delhi District Courts. Post-wise Eligibility Criteria

1. Senior Personal Assistant

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelorโ€™s degree from a recognized university.
  • Skill Requirements: Shorthand speed of 110 wpm and Typing speed of 40 wpm.

2. Personal Assistant

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelorโ€™s degree from a recognized university.
  • Skill Requirements: Shorthand speed of 100 wpm, Typing speed of 40 wpm, and working knowledge of computers.

3. Junior Judicial Assistant

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelorโ€™s degree from a recognized university.
  • Skill Requirements: Minimum computer typing speed of 40 wpm.

4. Process Server

  • Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) or Higher Secondary from a recognized board.
  • Other Requirements: Valid LMV (Light Motor Vehicle) driving licence with at least 2 years of unblemished driving experience.

5. Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon

  • Educational Qualification: Matriculation (10th Pass) or equivalent from a recognized board.

Age Limit & Age Relaxation

  • Age Limit (as on 01.06.2026): 18 to 27 years (Candidates born between June 2, 1999, and June 1, 2008).

Upper Age Relaxations:

  • SC / ST: 5 years
  • OBC (Delhi): 3 years
  • PwBD (UR/EWS): 10 years
  • PwBD (SC/ST): 15 years
  • PwBD (OBC): 13 years
  • Ex-Servicemen: Military Service period + 3 years (up to 55 years)

Selection Process

The selection process varies by post code:

  1. Senior PA & PA (Post Code 805/26):
  • Tier-I: Online MCQ Test (English, GK, General Intelligence) โ€“ 90 Marks
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English Test (Essay, Grammar, Translation) โ€“ 75 Marks
  • Tier-III: Skill Test (Shorthand Dictation & Typing) โ€“ Qualifying
  • Tier-IV: Interview (conducted by Delhi District Courts) โ€“ 10 Marks
  1. Junior Judicial Assistant (Post Code 806/26):
  • Tier-I: Objective MCQ Exam โ€“ 120 Marks
  • Tier-II: Descriptive English Test โ€“ 100 Marks
  • Tier-III: Computer Typing Test (@ 40 wpm) โ€“ Qualifying
  • Tier-IV: Interview โ€“ 15 Marks
  1. Process Server (Post Code 807/26):
  • Tier-I: MCQ Test (English, Hindi, GK, Arithmetic) โ€“ 100 Marks
  • Tier-II: Driving / Skill Test โ€“ Qualifying
  • Tier-III: Interview โ€“ 15 Marks
  1. Peon / Orderly / Dak Peon (Post Code 808/26):
  • Tier-I: MCQ Test (English, Hindi, GK, Arithmetic) โ€“ 100 Marks
  • Tier-II: Interview โ€“ 15 Marks

Application Fee

  • UR / OBC / EWS Male Candidates: โ‚น100/-
  • Women / SC / ST / PwBD / Ex-Servicemen: Exempted (No Fee)
  • Payment Mode: Online through SBI e-Pay only.

How to Apply Online

  1. Visit the official DSSSB portal at dsssbonline.nic.in.
  2. Complete the One-Time Registration (OTR) if not already registered.
  3. Log in using your credentials starting October 6, 2026.
  4. Select the desired post code and fill in personal, academic, and contact details.
  5. Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature as per specified dimensions.
  6. Pay the application fee (if applicable) using SBI e-Pay.
  7. Submit the form before November 4, 2026 (11:00 PM) and download/print a copy for future reference.
