DRDO ITR Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Offline for 54 Graduate & Technician Posts
The Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur—a premier laboratory under the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO)—has officially released the notification (Notification No. ITR/HRD/AT/11/2026) for 54 Apprentice training positions. Eligible and interested candidates can apply offline through Speed Post or Registered Post on or before 2 November 2026.

💰 Stipend & Training Duration
- Graduate Apprentices: ₹12,300/- per month
- Technician (Diploma) Apprentices: ₹10,900/- per month
- Duration of Training: 12 Months from the date of execution of the apprenticeship contract. (Note: This is a 1-year training program and does not guarantee permanent employment with DRDO).
🎓 Eligibility Criteria
- Minimum Age: 18 Years.
- Educational Qualification: Candidates must hold a regular degree or diploma (B.E./B.Tech, Diploma, BBA, B.Com, or B.Lib.Sc) in the relevant discipline from a recognized university/institution. Distance education/part-time courses are not eligible.
- Passing Year Eligibility: Only candidates who passed their qualifying examination in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.
- Experience Restriction: Candidates with 1 year or more of job/training experience or higher qualifications are not eligible to apply.
- Mandatory Portal Registration: Applicants must be registered on the NATS portal (National Apprenticeship Training Scheme) and provide their valid enrollment number.

- Last Date for Receipt of Application:2 November 2026 (Applications must reach ITR Chandipur via post by this date).
✉️ How to Apply (Offline Mode)
- Download Form: Visit the official website www.drdo.gov.in to download the application format (Annexure-A).
- Complete NATS Registration: Ensure your profile is active on the NATS Portal.
- Typewrite the Application: Fill out the application form clearly using a typewriter (handwritten details except signatures are not accepted).
- Attach Documents: Enclose self-attested copies of:
- 10th & 12th certificates/mark sheets
- Qualifying Degree/Diploma certificates and mark sheets
- NATS registration proof
- Caste certificate (if applicable)
- Valid photo ID proof & recent passport-size photograph
- Postal Dispatch: Place the documents in a sealed envelope, clearly superscribing the category and discipline, and send it via Speed Post or Registered Post to:
