CRPF Sports Quota Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 521 Head Constable & Constable Posts
The Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) under the Ministry of Home Affairs has released the official notification for the recruitment of meritorious sportspersons (Male and Female) for 521 Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted posts. The vacancies are offered for Head Constable (General Duty) and Constable (General Duty) under the Sports Quota–2026 across 22 sports disciplines.
Eligible candidates can apply online through the official CRPF recruitment portal (rect.crpf.gov.in

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification (as on 11 November 2026)
- Head Constable (GD): Passed 10+2 (Intermediate) or equivalent from a recognized Board/University.
- Constable (GD): Passed Matriculation (10th Standard) or equivalent from a recognized Board.
2. Sports Qualification Criteria
- Eligible Achievement Window: Achievements must have been secured between 30 September 2024 and 30 September 2026 (last 2 years prior to notification publication).
- For Head Constable (GD):
- Represented India in a recognized International Competition with MYAS clearance.
- Medalist (Up to 3rd Place) in National Games / Senior National Championship organized by an IOA/MYAS recognized federation.
- Secured 1st or 2nd position in Inter-University Tournaments (AIU).
- Gold/Silver medalist in Junior National Games/Championships.
- For Constable (GD):
- Represented a State/UT in Senior/Junior National Championships.
- Medalist (Up to 3rd Place) in National School Games (SGFI) or Khelo India Youth/University/Winter Games.
- Represented University in Inter-University Tournaments.
3. Age Limit & Cut-Off Date
- Age Limits:18 to 23 years as on 1 August 2026 (Candidates born between 02 August 2003 and 01 August 2008).
- Age Relaxation for Meritorious Sportspersons:
- Unreserved (UR): 5 Years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 8 Years (5 + 3)
- SC / ST: 10 Years (5 + 5)
- Ex-Servicemen: As per government guidelines (8 to 13 years depending on category).

Selection Process
1.Documentation & Scrutiny:Online screening of uploaded certificates.
Verification of original educational, caste, age, and sports performance certificates. Candidates unable to prove credentials are eliminated.
2.Physical Standard Test (PST):Measurement of Height, Chest & Weight.
Candidates undergo physical standards verification. Category-wise relaxations apply according to government rules.
3.Sports Trial Test:Field trials per discipline (Qualifying nature).
Qualifying trial conducted by a Board of Officers to test skill and current fitness in the applied discipline. No marks are awarded for trials; merit is strictly based on sports certificate marks.
4.Detailed & Review Medical Examination (DME/RME):Conducted per CAPF medical guidelines.
Verification of vision (6/6 & 6/9 without glasses), tattoo guidelines, and overall physical fitness at designated military/CAPF hospitals.

- Upload scanned copies of required documents (10th/12th certificate, Sports Certificate from the eligible window, Domicile, Caste certificate, Photo & Signature).
- Pay the application fee online (if applicable) using Net Banking, Debit/Credit Card, or UPI.
- Submit the application and retain a printout for future reference.
