Canara Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 3,500 Graduate Posts
Canara Bank has officially released the recruitment notification for the Engagement of Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961 for FY 2026–27. A total of 3,500 training seats are open across various states and Union Territories in India.
Eligible and interested candidates can complete their profile registration on the NATS portal and submit their online application on the official Canara Bank website from October 1, 2026 to October 17, 2026.

Eligibility Criteria
All eligibility criteria are evaluated as of September 1, 2026.
1. Educational Qualification
- Degree Required: Candidates must hold a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a university recognized by the Government of India or an equivalent Central Government qualification.
- Graduation Passing Window: Must have completed graduation not earlier than January 1, 2023 and not later than September 1, 2026.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.09.2026)
- Minimum Age: 20 years
- Maximum Age: 28 years (Candidates born between 02.09.1998 and 01.09.2006, both dates inclusive).
Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST: 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): 3 years
- PwBD Candidates: 10 years
- Widows / Divorced Women: Up to 35 years (UR/EWS), 38 years (OBC), and 40 years (SC/ST)
3. Language Proficiency & NATS Profile
- Candidates must be proficient in the specified local language of the chosen state.
- If a candidate studied the local language in 10th or 12th standard (as shown in the mark sheet), they are exempt from the local language test.
- Candidates must have a 100% complete profile on the NATS portal (
nats.education.gov.in) before applying on the bank’s portal.
4. Important Exclusions
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training with Canara Bank or any other organization are not eligible.
- Candidates with job experience or training of one year or more after graduation are not eligible.

Selection Process
The selection process for Canara Bank Graduate Apprentices does not involve a written exam:
- Merit List Generation: Candidates are shortlisted based on the marks obtained in 12th Standard (HSC / 10+2) or Diploma Examination.
- Document Verification (DV): Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification.
- Local Language Test: Conducted during DV if the candidate did not study the local language in 10th/12th.
- Medical Fitness: Engagement is contingent upon being declared medically fit as per bank guidelines.

Visit nats.education.gov.in and register as a student. Ensure your profile completion shows 100% before proceeding further.
2.Visit the Canara Bank Career Page:Between Oct 1 and Oct 17, 2026.
Go to the official website canarabank.bank.in and navigate to Careers > Recruitment > Engagement of Graduate Apprentices.
3.Fill Out the Online Application:
Enter your NATS Enrollment ID, personal details, educational qualifications, and state/district preferences.
4.Pay Fee & Submit Application:
Pay the required application fee (if applicable) using online payment modes. Review your form carefully and click Submit. Keep a printout for future reference.
