🎓 Eligibility Criteria & Educational Qualifications
1. Principal
- Must have passed a Master’s Degree from a recognized University with at least 45% marks in aggregate.
- Must possess a B.Ed degree from an institution recognized by NCTE and affiliated with a recognized University.
2. Post Graduate Teacher (PGT)
- Two-year Integrated Post Graduate Course with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for SC/ST/SEBC) in the concerned subject, OR Master’s degree with at least 50% marks in aggregate.
- Must have completed a Bachelor’s degree in Education (B.Ed) from a recognized institution.
3. Trained Graduate Teacher (TGT)
- Four-year integrated degree course in the concerned subject from an NCTE-recognized institution with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories), OR Bachelor’s degree in Arts/Science with 50% marks along with a B.Ed degree / 3-year integrated B.A.-B.Ed / B.Sc-B.Ed.
- Proficiency in teaching in both Odia and English medium.
4. Art Teacher
- Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts / Visual Arts from a recognized University.
- Proficiency to teach in Odia and English medium.
5. Physical Education Teacher (P.E.T)
- Degree or Post Graduate Degree in Physical Education (B.P.Ed / M.P.Ed) from a recognized University.
6. Computer Teacher
- B.E / B.Tech in Computer Science or I.T. / MCA / M.Sc. (Computer Science/IT), OR Passed ‘B’ level of DOEACC/NIELIT, ORB.C.A / B.Sc. in Computer Science.
📅 Age Limit & Relaxations
- Principal: Minimum age 32 years & Maximum age 50 years.
- PGT, TGT, Art, PET, Computer Teacher: Minimum age 21 years & Maximum age 42 years.
