Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualifications
- JE (Civil): Degree in Civil Engineering OR a 3-Year Diploma in Civil Engineering (plus relevant work experience for certain departments like BRO/MES).
- JE (Electrical / Mechanical): Degree in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering OR a 3-Year Diploma in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering (plus work experience where applicable).
- JE (Telecom): B.E./B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Telecommunication, Computer Science, IT, or Instrumentation.
- Scientific Assistant (IMD): Bachelor’s Degree in Science with Physics as a subject OR B.Sc/B.Tech in CS, IT, Electronics, or Communication Engineering.
2. Age Limit (as on 01.08.2026)
- Upper Age Limit: Up to 30 years or 32 years (varies by post and department).

Selection Process
The selection for SSC JE 2026 involves three main phases:
