SSB Odisha Recruitment 2026 Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
-
Candidates must possess a Bachelor’s Degree or an equivalent degree in any discipline from a recognized University or Institution.

Candidates must have adequate knowledge of basic Computer skills with certification.

Language Requirement: Must be able to speak, read, and write Odia, and must have passed Odia as a language subject in the H.S.C Examination or equivalent.
2. Age Limit (As on 01.01.2026)

Minimum Age: 21 Years.

Maximum Age: 42 Years (i.e., born not earlier than 1st January 1984 and not later than 1st January 2005).

Age Relaxations:

SC/ST/SEBC/Women/Ex-Servicemen: 5 Years.

PwD (with 40% or more permanent disability): 10 Years.

PwD (belonging to SEBC/SC/ST): 15 Years.

SSB Odisha Recruitment 2026 Selection Process
The selection will be based on a two-tier process:
Written Test (200 Marks): * Duration: 2 Hours.
Format: 100 Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs).
- Subjects: General English (60 Marks), General Knowledge & Current Affairs (40 Marks), General Mathematics (40 Marks), and Reasoning & Mental Ability (60 Marks).
- Negative Marking: 0.50 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer.
- Qualifying Marks: 40% for Unreserved category and 30% for SC/ST/SEBC/PWD categories

Computer Skill Test (50 Marks): * Duration: 1 Hour.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the written test (two times the vacancies).

The minimum qualifying mark is 20 marks for all categories.
