The recruitment process consists of the following stages:
Stage-I: Written Examination
Common Written Examination (10th Standard): 100 MCQs, 100 Marks, 120 Minutes. Covers Odia Language, English Language, General Knowledge, Quantitative Aptitude & Reasoning, and Basic Computer Literacy. (Negative marking: 0.25 marks per wrong answer) .Special Written Paper:
Constable (Communication): +2 Science Standard (Physics & Computer Science) – 100 MCQs, 300 Marks, 120 Minutes.Driver PMT & Firefighting Driver: Basic Vehicle Maintenance & Traffic Rules – 50 MCQs, 50 Marks, 60 Minutes.
Stage-II: Physical Measurement (PM) & Physical Efficiency Test (PET) (Qualifying in nature) .Driving Test (If applicable): Bonus marks awarded (LMV: 3 marks, HMV: 5 marks).Stage-III: Medical Examination by Medical BoardStage-IV: Document Verification NCC Certificate Bonus Marks: ‘A’ – 1 mark | ‘B’ – 2 marks | ‘C’ – 3 marks
