DRDO RCI Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 195 Posts
Research Centre Imarat (RCI), a premier laboratory under the Defence Research & Development Organisation (DRDO), Ministry of Defence, located in Hyderabad, has released an official recruitment notification for the engagement of 195 Graduate, Technician (Diploma), and Trade (ITI) Apprentices for a one-year training period.
Eligible and interested candidates can submit their applications online through the official portals (NATS 2.0 or Apprenticeship India). The last date to apply is within 30 days from the publication of the advertisement in the newspaper (tentatively 01 November 2026).

Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification & Passing Year
- Candidates must possess a regular Degree / Diploma / ITI pass certificate in the respective stream from a recognized institute.
- Must have scored at least 70% marks or a CGPA of 7.5 and above in the qualifying exam.
- Eligible Passing Years: Candidates who passed their qualifying exam in 2022, 2023, 2024, 2025, or 2026 are eligible.
2. General Eligibility & Ineligibility
- Citizenship: Must be an Indian National.
- Candidates possessing higher qualifications than prescribed are not eligible.
- Candidates who have already undergone or are currently undergoing apprenticeship training in any organization are ineligible.
- Candidates with more than 1 year of work experience are not eligible.
3. Age Limit (As of 01 September 2026)
- Minimum Age: 18 Years
- Upper Age: Not specified in the official notification.
Selection Process & Stipend
- Selection Method: Candidates will be shortlisted based on Academic Merit in the qualifying examination and/or an Interview, followed by Document Verification. There is no written examination.
- Stipend: Monthly stipend will be paid as per Government of India apprenticeship rules (Gazette Notification norms).
- Payment Mode: For Graduate and Diploma apprentices, 50% of the stipend will be transferred directly via DBT (Direct Benefit Transfer). Therefore, an Aadhaar-seeded bank account is mandatory.

- 10th / Matriculation Mark Sheet & Passing Certificate
- Consolidated / Final Mark Sheet & Provisional/Original Certificate of Degree/Diploma/ITI
- Caste / Community Certificate (SC/ST/OBC/EWS/PwD), if applicable
- Government Photo ID Proof (PAN Card, Voter ID, Driving License)
- Aadhaar Card
- Aadhaar-Linked Bank Account Passbook / Statement
- Medical Fitness Certificate issued by a Govt. Civil Assistant Surgeon
- Police Verification Certificate (from current/permanent residence)
- Two recent passport-sized photographs
