Salary, Stipend & Career Growth
Selected candidates will undergo a mandatory 1-year training period.
- Stipend During Training: ₹33,300/- per month (as per current rules).
- Pay Scale on Regular Absorption: Subject to performance and organization requirements, candidates will be absorbed at a basic pay of ₹37,000/- per month in the pay scale of ₹37,000 – ₹70,000, plus applicable allowances and benefits.
Eligibility Criteria
1. Educational Qualification
- Must possess a 4-year full-time regular B.Sc. (Agriculture) degree from a UGC/AICTE-recognized university/institution.
- Minimum Aggregate Marks:
- General / OBC Candidates: Minimum 60% aggregate marks.
- SC / ST Candidates: Minimum 55% aggregate marks.
- Note: Candidates with CGPA must convert their scores to percentage format in the online form.
2. Age Limit (as on 01-09-2026)
- Maximum Age: 30 years
- Age Relaxation:
- SC / ST Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 5 years
- OBC (Non-Creamy Layer) Candidates: Upper age relaxed by 3 years
3. Language Requirement
- Candidates must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking the regional language of the state for which they apply.
- Knowledge of additional regional languages or Hindi is highly desirable.
Selection Process
The selection of Agriculture Graduate Trainees consists of four stages:
- Preliminary Online Test: A remote Computer-Based Test (CBT) taken in an open environment using candidates’ own computer/laptop with an internet connection.
- Final Online Test: Shortlisted candidates will appear for a supervised online test at designated exam centres.
- Personal Interview: Candidates cleared in the final exam will be invited for an interview.
- Medical Examination: Final selection depends on medical fitness according to IFFCO’s standard criteria.
