Eligibility Criteria (as of 31 July 2026)
1. Educational Qualifications & Experience
- Minimum Marks Requirement: Candidates must hold a B.E. / B.Tech / B.Sc (Engg.) degree with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA/CPI) from a recognized university/institution, completed within the minimum course duration.
- Experience Requirement: A minimum of 2 years of post-qualification experience in relevant domains.
Position-Specific Details:
- Pipeline / Piping Engineer (Position A):
- Degree: Mechanical Engineering.
- Experience: Post-qualification design & engineering experience as a Mechanical/Pipeline/Piping Engineer for Refineries, Petrochemicals, Gas Processing, Fertilizers, Chemical Plants, Offshore Pipelines, or Jetty LNG projects. Familiarity with ASME B31.4/B31.8/B31.3, API, ISO, OISD, and PNGRB codes is preferred.
- Offshore Structural Engineer (Position B):
- Degree: Civil / Ocean / Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Experience: Post-qualification civil/structural design experience relating to refineries, pipeline terminals, LPG/LNG terminals, ports, jetties, shipbuilding/repair facilities, offshore fixed platforms, and marine structures.
- Project Engineer (Position C):
- Degree: Mechanical / Civil / Ocean / Marine Engineering or Naval Architecture.
- Experience: Post-qualification engineering and project execution experience similar to Position A & B (Oil & Gas pipelines, piping systems, and relevant international codes).
2. Age Limit (as of 31 July 2026)

Remuneration & Benefits
Selected candidates will receive a consolidated monthly pay depending on their place of posting:
- X Category Cities (e.g., Metro cities): ₹64,000 / month
- Y Category Cities: ₹60,800 / month
- Z Category Cities: ₹57,600 / month

Selection Process
There is no written exam. Selection involves the following stages:
- Online Registration: Candidates must submit an online application on the EIL website.
- Screening of Applications: Document verification on the day of the interview to confirm eligibility.
- Personal Interview: Candidates who pass the screening round will proceed to the interview.
- Interview centers are situated at EIL offices in Gurugram, Chennai, Bengaluru, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Vadodara.
- Exact interview dates, times, and designated centers will be communicated directly via registered email.
- Medical Fitness: Final appointment is subject to medical fitness as evaluated by authorized medical personnel.
How to Apply

- Fill out the online application form. Ensure percentages are rounded down to the nearest whole number (e.g., 60.9% to 60) and CGPA down to one decimal point (e.g., 6.95 to 6.9).
- Upload recent scanned passport-sized photos (.jpg/.jpeg, max 75 KB) and signatures (.jpg/.jpeg, max 25 KB).
- Submit the application form before 08 September 2026 (23:59 hrs).
- Print Application Form: Print 6 copies of the submitted application form, affix recent passport-size color photos, and bring them to the walk-in interview along with original credentials.

- All Degree Mark Sheets and Passing Certificates (Class 10, Class 12, Engineering Degree/Diploma).
- University CGPA-to-Percentage Conversion Formula Document.
- Detailed Work Experience Certificates clearly demonstrating joining dates, relieving dates, and job profiles.
- Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwD), if applicable.
- No Objection Certificate (NOC) for candidates working in Central/State Government or PSUs.
