Eligibility Criteria & Pay Scale

1. Educational Qualifications & Eligibility Tests

• Primary Teacher (Classes 1–5): Senior Secondary (12th Pass) with D.Ed / JBT / B.El.Ed and a valid CTET Paper-I or BTET Paper-I qualification.
• Middle School Teacher (Classes 6–8): Graduation with B.Ed / B.El.Ed / D.Ed and a valid CTET Paper-II or BTET Paper-II qualification.
• Secondary Teacher (Classes 9–10): Graduation / Post-Graduation with B.Ed / B.El.Ed and a valid Bihar STET Paper-I qualification.
• Senior Secondary Teacher (Classes 11–12): Post-Graduation with B.Ed / B.El.Ed and a valid Bihar STET Paper-II qualification.

2. Age Limit (As of 01/01/2026)

• Primary & Middle School Teachers: 18 to 37 years
• Secondary & Senior Secondary Teachers: 21 to 37 years
• Age relaxation applies to reserved categories as per Bihar Government norms.
