🎓 Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

Only Indian Nationals are eligible to apply.

Educational & Technical Qualifications

  • Technician (Skilled):
    1. Matriculation (10th Pass) from a recognized board or equivalent.
    2. ITI Pass Certificate in the specified trade OR an equivalent Defence Services Tradesman Course approved by Central/State Government.
    3. Minimum 1 year of experience in the specified trade from a recognized organization or undertaking.
  • Technician (Semi Skilled):
    1. ITI pass in any trade OR an equivalent Defence Services Tradesman course approved by the Central or State Government.

Age Limit (As on Closing Date)

  • Age Range: 18 to 27 years.
  • Note: Date of birth must match the 10th/Matriculation certificate or Birth Certificate. Aadhaar Card is not accepted as proof of age.

Upper Age Relaxation:

  • SC/ST: Up to 5 years (for reserved vacancies)
  • OBC: Up to 3 years (for reserved vacancies)
  • Ex-Servicemen: Military Service rendered + 3 years (up to 8 years max for SC/ST ESM)
  • Departmental Candidates (3 years service): Up to 40 years (UR), 43 years (OBC), 45 years (SC/ST)

💰 Pay Scale & Salary Structure

Recruited candidates will receive pay under the 7th CPC Pay Matrix along with Central Government allowances (DA, HRA, TA, CEA, LTC, CSD, and medical facilities). Candidates will be covered under the National Pension System (NPS) / Unified Pension System (UPS).

  • Technician (Semi Skilled): Pay Level-1 (₹18,000 – ₹56,900)
  • Technician (Skilled): Pay Level-2 (₹19,900 – ₹63,200)

The selection process strictly comprises two stages without an interview:

  1. Written Examination (100 Marks)
  2. Trade Test (100 Marks)

Trade Test

Candidates shortlisted from the written test will undergo a practical Trade Test carrying 100 marks (minimum qualifying mark is 40%). The final merit list is prepared post both tests based on Trade and Establishment preferences.

1.Prepare the Application Form:Format details.

Type the application form in the prescribed format (Appendix ‘A’) in English on A4-sized paper. Ensure all personal details match your official certificates.

2.Attach Photographs & Admit Card Formats:

Fill out the Admit Card format—Appendix ‘B’ for Semi-Skilled or Appendix ‘C’ for Skilled—in duplicate. Affix one self-attested passport-size photo to the main application form and one photo on each copy of the admit card (total of 3 photos).

3.Enclose Mandatory Document Proofs:

Attach self-attested photocopies of:

  • 10th / Matriculation Certificate (Proof of DOB)
  • ITI Pass Certificate & Marksheets
  • Trade Experience Certificate (Mandatory for Skilled post)
  • Caste / Category Certificate (if claiming age relaxation)
  • Aadhaar Card copy
  • NOC from current employer (if working in Govt/PSU)

4.Prepare the Self-Addressed Envelope:

Enclose one self-addressed envelope (Size: 30 cm × 12 cm) with a ₹55/- postal stamp affixed to it for dispatch of your admit card.

5.Superscribe & Send via Registered/Speed Post:

Place all documents in an outer envelope and clearly write on top:
