IOCL Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Apply Online for 433 Technician, Trade, & Graduate Apprentice Posts

Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Marketing Division (Northern Region), has officially released Notification No. IOCL/MKTG/NR/APPR/2026-27/1 for the engagement of 433 Technician, Trade, and Graduate Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.

This recruitment drive is open to eligible candidates across 9 Northern States and Union Territories: Delhi, Haryana, Punjab, Chandigarh, Himachal Pradesh, Jammu & Kashmir, Rajasthan, Uttar Pradesh, and Uttarakhand.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

  • Technician Apprentice (Codes 101–106): 3-year regular full-time Diploma in relevant Engineering branch with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD against reserved positions).
  • Trade Apprentice / ITI (Codes 107–111): Matric (Class 10th) with a 2-year regular full-time ITI course recognized by NCVT or SCVT.
  • Graduate Apprentice (Code 112): Regular full-time Graduation degree (BA/B.Sc/B.Com/BBA) with at least 50% aggregate marks (45% for SC/ST/PwBD).
  • DEO Fresher (Code 113): Class 12th Pass (Non-Graduate).
  • DEO Skill Certificate Holder (Code 114): Class 12th Pass (Non-Graduate) with a valid Skill Certificate in ‘Domestic Data Entry Operator’ (less than 1-year duration) issued under NSQF or Central Government authority.

Ineligibility Note: Candidates holding higher professional degrees (B.E., B.Tech, MBA, MCA, CA, ICWA, LLB) completed on or before joining are not eligible. Distance/correspondence/part-time degrees will be rejected.

Age Limit & Relaxations (as on 31.08.2026)

  • Minimum Age: 18 Years
  • Maximum Age: 24 Years
  • Age Relaxations:
    • SC / ST: Upper age limit relaxed by 5 Years
    • OBC (Non-Creamy Layer): Upper age limit relaxed by 3 Years
    • PwBD: Upper age limit relaxed by 10 Years (up to 15 years for SC/ST PwBD)

Selection Process & Stipend

  1. Selection Criteria: Selection is purely merit-based, calculated on the percentage of marks obtained in the qualifying educational examination (Diploma, Degree, ITI, or Class 12th).
  2. No Written Exam / Interview: Candidates are shortlisted directly for Document Verification (DV) based on merit.
  3. Stipend: Selected apprentices will receive a monthly stipend as per the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973/1992 and government guidelines.

How to Apply Online

1.Register on Government Apprentice Portal:Mandatory first step for all candidates.

  • Technician / Graduate Apprentices: Register on the NATS Portal.
  • Trade / ITI / DEO Apprentices: Register on the NAPS Portal.
  • Save your Enrollment / Registration Number.

2.Fill Out the IOCL Online Application Form:

  • Access the official application link via iocl.com or the designated Microsoft Office Form link provided in the notification.
  • Select your target State and Discipline Code.

3.Upload Required Documents:

Upload clear scanned copies of:

  • 10th / 12th Marksheets & Certificates
  • Qualification Degree/Diploma/ITI Certificates & Marksheets
  • Valid Category Certificate (SC/ST/OBC-NCL/EWS/PwBD), if applicable
  • Government Photo ID (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport)

4.Submit and Save Confirmation:

Review all entered details carefully and submit the application before September 06, 2026 (5:00 PM). Print or save a PDF copy of the submitted form for document verification.
