AAI Eastern Region Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Notification Out for 140 Vacancies
Airports Authority of India (AAI), Eastern Region has released an official recruitment notification (Advt No. 01/2026/ER/APPRENTICE) inviting applications from eligible Indian candidates for 140 Graduate, Diploma, and ITI Apprentice positions across Regional Headquarter (RHQ) Kolkata and various airport locations in the Eastern Region.

📋 Eligibility Criteria
1. Domicile / Region Requirement
- Applicants must belong to Eastern Region states/UTs: West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, and Andaman & Nicobar Islands.
2. Educational Qualification
- Graduate Apprentice: Must hold a relevant Degree in Engineering/Technology or relevant streams.
- Diploma Apprentice: Must hold a relevant Diploma in Engineering/Technology.
- ITI Apprentice: Must hold an ITI Certificate (NCVT/SCVT) in relevant trades.
- Passing Year Condition: Candidates must have passed their respective degree/diploma/ITI course in or after 2024 (evaluated as of June 30, 2026).

📝 How to Apply Online
Applications are accepted strictly online through the national apprenticeship portals. No offline or physical forms will be entertained.
Step 1: Portal Registration
- Graduate & Diploma Candidates: Register on the NATS Portal (nats.education.gov.in).
- ITI Candidates: Register on the NAPS Portal (apprenticeshipindia.gov.in).
Step 2: Search Establishment
- Log in to your portal profile after completing registration.
- Go to the “Apprenticeship Opportunities” / “Establishment Search” tab.
- Enter the corresponding AAI Establishment ID for your preferred airport location (listed in the table above).
Step 3: Submit Application
- Select the relevant discipline/trade and click Apply.
- Review your profile details, upload required documents, and submit the application.
- Keep a printout or copy of the submitted application form for future reference.

- Governing Rules: Selected candidates will be governed under the Apprentices Act, 1961 (and its amendments).
- Duration: The training period is strictly 1 year.
