The Odisha Sub-ordinate Staff Selection Commission (OSSSC) has officially announced the schedule for the Written Test regarding the recruitment of Forester, Forest Guard, and Excise Constable under CRE-2025 (II).

 Examination Schedule

• Mode of Exam: Computer Based Recruitment Examination (CBRE).
• Start Date: 16th April, 2026.
• Duration: The exams may continue up to the 2nd week of May, 2026.
• Location: Conducted across all districts of the State.

 Admission Letters & Mock Tests

• Download: Candidates must log in to the official portal at [suspicious link removed] using their User ID and Password.
• Details: Your specific date, venue, and timing will be printed on the Admission Letter.
• No Post: Hard copies of Admission Letters will not be sent by mail.
• Preparation: A “Mock Test” link will be available for candidates to practice while downloading their letters.

 Important Guidelines

• Normalization: Since the exam involves multiple shifts and question sets, a Normalization Methodology will be used to calculate final scores. The methodology extract is available on the OSSSC website.
• Center Allocation: While centers are in all districts, some candidates might be assigned to a district other than their preferred choice due to capacity limits.
• PwD Candidates: Candidates with benchmark disabilities are entitled to 30 minutes of compensatory time.
• Flexibility: The Commission reserves the right to change exam dates if necessary.
